The herbs are coated with a light mist of natural vegetable oil. This will allow the herbs to keep their color and flavor even when defrosted. Put the herbs back in the freezer if defrosted.

When re-frozen, some ice crystals will form and the herbs will have a tendency to stick together. Give the box a little shake, they will separate and be ready to use again.

Use the same amount of fresh frozen herbs as fresh herbs; Use twice as much fresh frozen herbs as dried herbs

Fresh Frozen Herbs orders are shipped Federal Express Second Day service with dry-ice. In order to preserve freshness and quality, herbs can only be delivered Tuesday through Friday, unless the shipment or delivery date falls on a major holiday.
Please note, Orders accepted Wednesday after 3PM through Sunday will be processed on Monday of the following week. Your shipment may arrive a day early at no extra cost.

Our Fresh Frozen Herbs orders are carefully packed with dry ice in a reusable insulated box, which is placed inside a corrugated double strength box.

It is recommended that you provide an address at which someone will be present to sign for the package during business hours (most deliveries between noon and 4:30pm). In the event that there is no one present to receive the package at the time of delivery, Federal Express will leave the package at the safest entrance available, in order to insure delivery that day. A second delivery attempt may not be possible until the following day which could result in melting.
Daregal and FedEx can not be held responsible for the condition of the frozen product if the recipient is unable to receive the package upon delivery.
